Recalling the iconic 1985 colorway credited, erroneously, for earning Michael Jordan a $5,000 fine every time he wore it, the Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Banned' dropped in 2020. Featuring a classic Chicago Bulls mix of black and University Red, the shoe's upper is built with leather, adding University Red to the shortened eyestay to differentiate it from its predecessor. Underfoot, a white Air mdisole provides cushioning, giving way to a concentric rubber outsole for traction.
